Dear Donald Trump...

Dear Donald Trump,
You can put me in jail, but I've already been there.
My brain and heart were confined to four walls with a constant refrain of, "why?"
I've done solitary confinement for far longer than any judge would have mandated,
And I've done it in the most crowded of rooms.
And while there I was tortured.
I was water boarded daily by pregnancy announcements, growing bellies and pregnancy glow.
Cooing infants, shrieking toddlers, and happy families left me blind.
I've loved, I've lost, I've had empty arms and I've held the weight of multiple worlds on shoulders forced to be as strong as Zeus
If one day I find myself burning in your version of hell,
I will gladly take that punishment knowing that my fetus never suffered pain.
And when I see you there, damned for all eternity,
I still wont shake your hand.
Compassion and empathy cost nothing more than the expansion of your heart and mind.
They ask that you remember that your world is not the only world,
That you are not the focal points of the universe.
You don't even have to walk a mile in someone's non-designer shoes,
You just have to believe they exist.
Sincerely,
A black swan on the opposite side of the bell curve
